A big estate, always mid-build
Steyn City is one of the largest continuously developing estates in Gauteng, with new precincts and new homes going up all the time. That means the window-treatment brief here is rarely "match what's already there" — it's usually a full house, freshly plastered, with every blind spec being decided from scratch.
New builds, planned properly
Being involved before the paint is dry has real advantages. Concealed recessed blind boxes can be built into the ceiling design at the framing stage, rather than retrofitted with a surface bulkhead later. Motorisation and wiring for wired 220V motors can be planned into the electrical layout instead of squeezed in afterward. And with the scale of glass typical of Steyn City's newer sections — double-volume living rooms, expansive sliding doors — a coordinated specification across the whole house, done once, tends to work out better than room-by-room decisions.
What we fit most often here
- Motorisation & automation planned in from the design stage
- Sunscreen roller blinds across full-height new-build glazing
- External venetian blinds on statement glass elevations
- Folding-arm awnings over entertainment terraces
Getting a quote in Steyn City
If you're mid-build, the earlier we're involved the better — bring us in alongside your final fit-out decisions and we'll plan blind boxes, motor wiring and window schedules to suit. If you've already moved in, the same free-measure, written-quote, made-and-fitted process applies exactly as it does anywhere else on our patch.
